Atletico achieve their 20th consecutive victory at the Calderon • Diego Costa managed to open the defensive wall of Betis

       
Another home game for Atletico and another victory. The group led by Diego Pablo Simeone faced the difficult challenge of recording their twentieth consecutive victory in front of their fans. It took just a minute for Atletico to show their intentions and find the first chance of the game after a ball from Falcao that Arda could not send in to the back of the net. Guided by Gabi from midfield and Mario, Atletico came out strong. The match of the two midfielders was brilliant and their work again slowed the brave Betis attacks, whose fifth place in the league is a true reflection of the level of Mel and his men.
 
The day when 'Super Mario' had been called up by Del Bosque for the first time to join the national team was one to remember. In the opening exchanges it was all Atleti and the Betis keeper had to be alert.  Chances from Koke, Arda Gabi and Adrian all came close to opening the scoring.
 
Betis settled in to the game and began to create a few chances of their own but never really troubled Coutois in the first half and the sides went in all square at the break. 
 
Diego Costa, the revolutionary
Ten minutes after the break Diego Costa replaced Adrian and it proved to be the turning point of the game. And it was from one of his lay off that Koke had a god chance to open the scoring. A diagonal cross field ball was was brought down well by the Brazilian who set it up for Koke but unfortunately he couldn’t keep his shot down and the ball sailed over the bar.  
 
Next it was the turn of Falcao, back in the side after recovering from injury, the Columbian tried his luck from distance but his 35 yard strike was saved well by Adrian in the Betis goal. And it was rom the next move that the only goal of the game came, a corner from the left was met but the head of Diego Costa who’d done well to find the space inside the Betis six yard box made the difference, 61 minutes on the clock and Atleti lead by 1 goal to 0. 
 
 
Altetico continued to create chances and looked the most likely to get the next goal with both Cristian Rodriguez and Raul Garcia coming close in the final stages.  The single goals was enough to get the points that saw Atleti stretch their winning streak to 20 games and after Barcelona’s draw the three points saw the rojiblancos close the gap at the top to 9 points.

之前看了勒沃库森2-3多特蒙德比赛，觉得西甲比赛犯规太多，大多裁判不理，而多特比赛中反击之所以很流畅，裁判对拿球队员遭到犯规判罚很严厉，多特这场比赛中拿到了2个点球，而勒沃库森球员也并无太多不满滴。比赛一直是在高速攻防转换中进行的。

Atlético were without the Colombian striker in Thursday's Copa del Rey semi-final but 'El Tigre' seems to be over his recent muscular problems and trained as normal on Friday.

Radamel Falcao returned to the practice pitches at Cerro del Espino on Friday. The Colombian began the session training on the fringes alongside Óscar Pitillas but later joined the main group to work out at the same pace as his team mates. The player appears to be over the problems he has been suffering to his left hamstring and is available once again to Diego Simeone ahead of Sunday's meeting with Betis at the Vicente Calderón.

Falcao injured his hamstring during the league game against Levante on January 20th and was noticeable by his absence in yesterday's Copa del Rey semi-final first leg against Sevilla.

Those who took part in the Cup game were excused from Friday's session but will return to the training ground for tomorrow's session. Simeone worked with just 10 members of his first team squad: Asenjo, Cisma, Cata Díaz, Manquillo, Pulido, Tiago, Saúl, Óliver, Insúa and Raúl García. Cristian 'Cebolla' Rodríguez meanwhile stayed indoors to exercise in the gym.

Atlético take on Betis on Sunday for the fourth time in the present campaign, the sides having faced off once in La Liga in Sevilla, and in home and away legs in Copa del Rey knockout action.

Kick-off at the Vicente Calderón, where Atleti hope to make it 19 wins a row, is set for 21:00 CET.

Los Rojiblancos eliminated their Verdiblanco foes 3-1 on aggregate less than a fortnight ago, having previously defeated them 4-2 at the Benito Villamarín in league play back in September.

Diego Simeone’s men come into this clash following an embarrassing display in Bilbao last weekend though, the Basques having trounced los Colchoneros 3-0 in a match that featured four Atleti substitutes.

Athletic killer Radamel Falcao missed the trip to San Mamés, and also sat out the first leg of the Copa del Rey semi-final game at ‘Cholo Castle’ against Sevilla.

The Colombian was in attendance however, and watched his team-mates go on to win a wild affair 2-1 that helped the squad look past their Bilbao woes.

Atleti will be boosted by ‘El Tigre’s’ return for this bout. The striker trained with the group having recovered from the hamstring injury he suffered in the match versus Levante that forced him to rest the past three games and is expected to start.

The always critical-to-our-attack Filipe Luís will serve a one-match ban, while Thibaut Courtois and Emiliano Insúa both practised apart from the squad.

The goalkeeper has a strained neck but should be good to go by game time, but there’s uncertainty regarding the availability of our new signing and back-up left back Insúa.

‘El Cholo’ refused to release a squad list for the encounter, preferring to wait and see who’s fit to take part.

“We’ll all go to the Calderón tomorrow morning and we’ll determine who is okay to play,” the Argentine tactician told reporters at Saturday’s press conference.

“Insúa has a muscular strain and we’ll see how it evolves.”

The Atleti boss warned that the familiarity between the two clubs will make the game a difficult one.

“We know how they play and they know how we play,” he said.

“They’re a team that have a lot of creativity and speed from the midfield up. They’re coming off a week of rest and, obviously, they intend to capitalise on that. We’ll have to recover well.

“Thursday’s match was very tough and hopefully we can play a great game.”

With regard to superstar Falcao’s upcoming trip to Miami for a friendly between Colombia and Guatemala on Wednesday, Cholo said:

“I’d rather not opine on Falcao having to go play with Colombia. It wouldn’t be pretty.”

Speaking of not pretty, the ‘Beast of the Manzanares’ (aka Diego Costa) was showered with praise by Betis head coach Pepe Mel on Saturday.

“I expect my players to give their all just like Diego Costa does,” Mel said.

“It’s horrifying to face off against him and magnificent to have him on your team. He’s a player that does it all. We’ll have to go after the ball hard and with resolve just like Diego Costa does.”

Mel’s men were pounded 3-0 by Rayo in Vallecas last weekend, but still remain in great position in the fight for the final Champions League spot–tied with Málaga in fourth place with 35 points apiece.

The Madrid-born tactician has had to manage without several injured players in Álex, Juan Carlos, Pozuelo and Nosa, but the club have brought in Colombia international Dorlan Pabón, who will likely debut with his new team at the Calderón.

In addition to the Cafetero striker, Betis snagged Uruguayan-born Swedish attacker Guillermo Molins from Anderlecht on loan.

偶看见第二张照片，也猛然有此感觉啊。不过这跟北京那几天景象有很大区别吧，那是从空中看都是那样雾霾情景，这个从近处往远处看，好比在农村田地中早晨时段起雾一样
