The Argentine believes his team are favorites in the match against Académica


The Atletico coach knows that Thursday's clash may enable Atletico to seal their place as leaders in Group B of the Europa League should they get three points. "Winning tomorrow would be important towards the goal we have of finishing the group as the leader. A good result would direct us to it." said the coach.

Diego Pablo Simeone had the presence of youth teamers Kader, Pedro, Saul, Óliver Torres and Manquillo who worked with the group.

The training began with the goalkeepers working with Pedro Vercellone and outfield players doing physical exercises before they continued behind closed doors.
