Copa final to be held at the Bernabéu King's Cup history favours Atleti at their eternal rivals' home stadium

A tale of one city.
After all the hoopla about where the Copa del Rey final between Atlético and arch-rivals Real Madrid would take place, the Spanish capital will be the bustling site of the derby of all derbies, Atleti announced on their official website Friday.
The battle for the prestigious trophy will kick-off on Friday, May 17th at 21:30 CET as agreed upon by the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) and officials of both clubs.
Each team will be allotted 30,000 tickets for their fans.
This will be the fifth King’s Cup final between the two sides and, surprisingly, los Rojiblancos have a dominant record against the Merengues, having bested their foes three times.
Red and white legends such as Adelardo, Calleja, Collar, Rivilla and Peiró came out triumphant at the Bernabéu in consecutive years (1960 and 1961) to win the tournament title, while Atleti lost the cup to Real at the Vicente Calderón in a penalty shootout 14 years later in 1975.
History at the Blancos’ grounds clearly favours Atleti. The last time the Madrid-based outfits faced off in the Copa final was in 1992, when los Colchoneros, with goals by Bernd Schuster and Paulo Futre, defeated Real 2-0.
Atleti are after their 10th Copa del Rey trophy, having last come out on top in the 1995/96 edition of the competition.

Radamel Falcao fue protagonista en El Hormiguero de Antena 3 y señaló, hablando de la final de Copa, que "queremos dar una alegría a nuestra gente y mejor que sea en el Bernabéu".
El colombiano aseguró que "era partidario de jugar en Madrid por las dos aficiones, es importante". Además, hablando de la Liga, comentó que "es importante acabar por encima del Real Madrid, pero lo principal es estar en Champions".

El 'Tigre' también reveló que el día que le metió cinco al Deportivo no pudo dormir y lo que siente dentro del área: "Cuando estás ahí el corazón late más fuerte. El momento del gol es algo inexplicable. Al celebrarlo, ya no sabes que hacer, se te cruzan los cables".
El rojiblanco tiene claro que "los delanteros estamos obsesionados con el gol. Aunque gane tu equipo, si no marcas, es verdad que parece que te falta algo".

A Falcao le llaman Tigre porque "un compañero en Argentina me llamó así. Me dijo que había sido un tigre en la cancha y ahí se quedó". Además, dijo que "mi padre era defensa y me dijo que tenía que ser delantero, que atrás se sufre mucho y los que hacen goles son los que ganan más dinero. De todos modos, yo cuando nací ya quería ser delantero".
El colombiano también desveló que conoció a su mujer en la Iglesia y que siempre reza antes de salir al campo. Su mujer, precisamente, le dio la sorpresa de la noche cantando en el programa su nuevo single.
