First session for Simeone’s men after the Cup match against Real Jaen

Atletico Madrid are preparing for the league match against Real Madrid, a meeting that will be held this Saturday at 22.00 in the Bernabeu. Players who participated in the second leg of the knockout phase of the Copa del Rey against Jaén had a regenerative session, while those who  did not trained for an hour on field 1 of the City sports in Majadahonda.

Diego Pablo Simeone had youth player Saul and Oliver join the group of players who performed the training session on the field. The only absence from the first training with an eye to the derby was to Cristian Rodriguez. The Uruguayan underwent medical tests to determine the extent of the injury that forced him to leave the field in the Cup match against Jaén.

本轮重头戏。又到了一年两次的马德里德比。本赛季马竞的势头强劲而稳定，目前已经确定将会带着积分上的领先优势进入伯纳乌球场，这是98-99赛季以来马竞第一次做到这一点。在马德里市马竞是平民工人阶级的代表，皇马则是白领贵族的象征，双方的对话就是一场工人阶级与资本家的对抗，虽然每年工人阶级都非常努力，但最后获胜的总是财大气粗的贵族。马竞已经13年没有赢过皇马，上一次最接近取胜的比赛是在08年3月的伯纳乌球场，当时内乱严重的皇马兵荒马乱，马竞依靠阿圭罗加弗兰的双枪对皇马的城门展开了近乎疯狂的进攻，若不是阿圭罗运气欠佳马竞可以大比分战胜对手，最终皇马凭借亨特拉尔的一次越位回接取得进球1-1拿走一分，之后佛罗伦迪诺再次入主皇马，皇马大张旗鼓招揽球星，而马竞因为自身债务缠身加上自身的战绩太过拙劣只能一再出售当家球星。可谓反其道而行之。
今年是四年后双方实力最为接近的一次德比对话，皇马依然高高在上，但马竞在双冠功勋西蒙尼的带领下已经形成了基本完整的打法思路和体系，西蒙尼的思想已经完全注入这支球队。法尔考、阿德里安、图兰，后双枪时代的马竞攻击线人手分工更为明确，且一旦法尔考无法进球，图兰和阿德里安总能帮助球队，此外巴西射手迭戈-科斯塔也成为了马竞球迷的新宠，他的侵略性和强大的对抗能力是马竞队内绝无仅有的。皇马相比于马竞最大的优势在于这支球队的天赋异禀，马竞更多的是靠整体的互相帮助和不惜力的奔跑和防守，而皇马的进攻球员个个天赋异禀，厄齐尔、C罗、迪玛利亚和本泽马等人都可以在短时间内灵光一现创造出机会进而决定比赛，这正是如今的马竞最为欠缺的一环。上个赛季在卡尔德隆的交锋正是C罗如履平地般的大演帽子戏法让法尔考的进球显得苍白无力。本场比赛坐镇主场的皇马只会比做客卡尔德隆的皇马更为强大，也将从另一个侧面证明马竞新赛季异军突起的成色是否足够。面对一群世界顶尖的攻击手，马竞想要取胜难比登天。但马竞历来的核心精神就是永不放弃，本场比赛无论结果如何马竞都会战斗到最后一秒，马德里德比并非想象中的一边倒，或许结果依然如故，但球迷们应该从中看到马竞的进步。

The much-awaited Derbi Madrileño between the Spanish capital’s two biggest clubs gets underway on Saturday when Atlético Madrid head out to the Santiago Bernabéu to face off against Real Madrid.

The clash kicks-off at 22:00 CET.

“Madrid is only red and white,” read an enormous banner displayed by Atlético supporters just outside los Rojiblancos’ training facilities in Majadahonda on Thursday.

Audacious words considering the over decade-long hex the ‘only-Whites’ have imposed on their city rivals, but perhaps justifiable given the present eight-point lead Atleti have over Real in the league table, the largest they will take into a derby since the 1995/96 campaign.

Merengue supporters would of course quickly counter with an arsenal of statistics that anyone would be hard-pressed to argue against.

La Liga’s reigning champions have defeated Atlético the last eight times the sides have met in all competitions, taking their unbeaten streak against los Colchoneros up to 23 games with last season’s pair of 4-1 triumphs.

23 games. That’s 2,070 minutes of football. Painfully humbling numbers for the Manzanares camp.

But Indio boss Diego Simeone, who has radically changed the culture of the club in less than a year at the helm, leading his men to 17 wins in 20 matches in the present term and banishing the inconsistency that has plagued Atlético since their return to Primera División in 2002, says to hell with those numbers.

“We don’t get bogged down in statistics, and all winning or losing streaks must come to an end at some point,” he told reporters on Friday.

“We have to be prepared for the game and be committed. I don’t dwell on the past, I just think about what’s coming next, and we will try and by playing to our strengths we will try to win the three points.”

The Atleti icon announced he would open up the final practice session, to be held at the Vicente Calderón 10 hours before proceedings get underway across town, to the Rojiblanco faithful, explaining that “feeling the energy of the fans is excellent”.

“The derby is a fantastic occasion and really gets the pulse racing,” the Argentine tactician said.

“It’s not worth nine points, it’s just another three points, but we know how much this game means to so many people and we have to show we are competitive and put in a good performance. They are our biggest rivals and they go into the game desperate for points, like any team that has lost their last game.”

After falling away to Valencia for their first loss of the season and following up that performance with a defeat in Portugal to Académica de Coimbra in Europa League group play, Simeone’s hombres have quietly bounced back to put together a five-game win streak in all competitions, though they loudly pounded Sevilla 4-0 last Sunday at a throbbing Calderón.

While ‘El Cholo’ symbolically called up all 22 first team squad members, super-sub Cristian ‘Cebolla’ Rodríguez has been ruled out with a hamstring injury sustained in midweek Copa del Rey action against Real Jaén.

The rest of the tribe will be at Simeone’s disposal.

It’s been a rough couple of days for José Mourinho, whose Liga title-holding side suffered their third league defeat of the season at the hands of Betis last Saturday and find themselves a daunting 11 points away from top-of-the-table Barcelona.

The Portuguese manager was even jeered at home by spectators in attendance for Real’s Copa del Rey bout on Tuesday.

So while Atleti are normally the ones entering this encounter with a huge chip on their shoulder — that will no doubt still be the case — the pressure is on los Blancos to re-establish their dominance in Madrid and avoid a 14-point gap between themselves and Barça.

Raúl Albiol, Michael Essien, Marcelo, and Gonzalo Higuaín will all be unavailable through injury.

For Atlético fans, Real Madrid seem ripe for the picking, but Cholo remains very cautious.

“We are up against the league champions,” he warned.

“I look at a team in terms of the players they have and not in terms of their position in the league. Madrid are a powerful team based on very strong individual players. We’ll have to work as a team and try and hurt them.”

Yeah boys, hurt them.

Diego Pablo Simeone appeared before the media in a press room of the Sports City which was crowded prior to the derby against Real Madrid. The Atletico coach called up the whole squad, including the injured Cristian Rodriguez for this meeting and justified the opening of doors in training ahead of the game on Saturday, stating that " I feel the energy and is positive and people want positive energy, tomorrow we will have it with us. When things go as they are going, we feel unity is strength."

The technician also said that "we know that the opponent is powerful and last season champions. We will try to be compact and intense".

He referred to Jose Mourinho, coach of Real Madrid, as a "winning coach and I have admiration for him as a coach. He has shown in every country that has been that he is capable. This is a guy who has won at Inter, Chelsea, Porto and now in Madrid. That takes you to a special place. I went to see him work a week when he was at Inter, we talked football. He is a coach that I like."

The Atletico coach made it clear that he will not change anything for this meeting because "we think of the game as a team. We will try to do things just as we have been doing. We must seek to be compact and not think as individuals but collectively. And we know that the collective power of individuals we have in the squad."

Simeone says that "we know of the illusion of the fans. We know that we will face a strong team, with great players and last seasons champions. We will try to play  well with our tools and our illusion."

He said that Atletico will not deviate from the line they’ve been following this season because "the team has a core and a well defined style. We will try to continue on the same line. I guess the opponent will look to play the game their way and create their chances, but I repeat that we will continue in the same line as in all games."

Regarding if winning a derby is an added plus for players, he was transparent in stating that "the derby is always a great thing, is a special game that excites you and you live differently. As we always say, we’re playing for three points, not nine points, it’ like any other game. But there is an illusion, a feeling and a commitment by a lot of fans to which we will try to show that we are competitive and we can have a good game."

As for the difference in points between the two rivals, 8 points in favor of Atletico, it is something that Simeone does not take into account because "we will face the ultimate champions. I always speak with respect for the opponent based on the players who they have, the numbers will make no difference in the game. We will come up against great players. It is a squad that has a power in its individual strength and to which we, based on teamwork, will try to hurt ".

Atletico Madrid complete their preparation for the derby behind closed doors

Cristian Rodriguez was the only absence in Friday's session

The players of the first team of Atletico Madrid trained for an hour and a half behind closed doors in field 1 of the Majadahonda Sports City. Only Cristian Rodriguez, recovering from an injury suffered during the Copa del Rey match against Real Jaen on Wednesday, missed this Friday morning session.

Atletico started with ball exercises and physical work. The good mood was the dominant note in the beginning of the session.

More than a hundred fans waited for Atletico players around the Sports City to show their support with chants and applause and a large red banner with white letters whose legend was: "Winning is not everything, it is the conly thing: Come on Atleti ".

Upon completion of training, the Atletico coach gave the list of 22 called up for the derby against Real Madrid:

On Saturday morning, hours ahead of the match between Real and Atlético, 21,000 fans turned up for Atlético’s training session which for the occasion took place at the Vicente Calderón.

You can find a gallery of pictures on AS and Atlético’s official website.

Diego Simeone often uses the passion and support of fans as a motivation to inspire his players and we’re certain that the players will now be fully aware of the meaning of this game to us Atlético fans.

As always there were hopes and ambitions. Perhaps even more now that for the first time in years Atlético were leading Real in the league, by eight points no less.

But again the Derbi Madrileño ended in heartbreak and disappointment for the Rojiblancos, as they fell to their neighbours without ever looking like the team that has impressed so much in Spain and Europe this past year.

The first opportunity of the game was for the visitors. Diego Costa beat his defender and reached the back line, from where his low cross reached Falcao at the near post. Unfortunately for Atlético the Colombian’s subtle touch was kept out by Iker Casillas.

Just a few minutes later Real did score from their first attempt on goal. Arda Turan stupidly conceded a free kick for a handball and was made to regret his mistake by Cristiano Ronaldo, who superbly put the free kick past Thibaut Courtois.

Ronaldo’s goal was reminiscent of last year’s derby, when he was also succesful from a set piece. The Portuguese has made the most attempts of all players in La Liga, and chose the match against Atleti to convert his first free kick of the season.

The teams created few opportunities in the first half and instead were busy trying to get each other sent off. Diego Costa was a menace for Real’s defenders and constantly got into fights with Xabi Alonso, Pepe and Sergio Ramos, who weren’t shy about getting physical either.

After an hour of play, Mesut Özil decided the game. Miranda completely missed a header and allowed Cristiano Ronaldo to bring the ball forward. Initially Juanfran and Godín did well to block Ronaldo’s pass to Benzema, but all of Atleti’s defenders lost sight of Özil, who was calmly waiting for the ball on the edge of the box. Despite the German’s poor first touch, he had no problem slotting it underneath Courtois for Real’s second goal of the night.

With the result beyond doubt, Real finally started moving the ball around well and in the 10 minutes after Özil’s second, the home team created three huge opportunities to extend their lead even further.

Cristiano Ronaldo hit the woodwork twice in as many minutes. After first smacking the ball against the crossbar from a free kick, he later hit the post after a fantastic Özil through pass. Earlier Thibaut Courtois had done well to stop José Callejón’s shot.

Despite all our ambitions, Atlético failed to show up in the Derbi Madrileño and lost the match without ever posing a real threat to Real’s hierarchy in Madrid.

21,000 fans cheer the team at the Calderon before derby

Extraordinary response from the fans to the open-door training session

Simeone said he wanted to feel the positive energy from the Atletico Madrid fans before the derby and the crowd overflowed all expectations flocking to the Vicente Calderon. 21,000 fans in the stands gave color to the last training session before the derby against Real Madrid (22 hours, live @ Atleti).

Each player was welcomed on arrival at the training session with an ovation. During the 30-minute-long practice, the red and white fans sang one by one with the climax of the anthem and thousands of scarves waving in the wind. Unforgettable.

Will the nightmare ever end?

Atlético suffered their ninth loss in a row to their arch-nemesis Real Madrid on Saturday.

At this point, and perhaps possibly for some time now, the feelings between the two capital sides simply can’t be mutual.

Los Blancos have helped themselves to all 21 of the last 21 points up for grabs in the last seven league derbies.

Why would they consider us a bitter rival?

While Atlético were dealt a severe blow to their plans with Filipe Luís’ late scratch from the starting line-up, it took one uncharacteristic mental error by Arda — giving away a free kick in a dangerous area with a silly and completely unnecessary handball — to foil a somewhat bright start for Diego Simeone’s men.

Cristiano Ronaldo’s ensuing splendid free kick goal, which we can only attribute to sheer luck based on his countless botched efforts throughout the past couple of years (okay, there was a little skill involved as well), put out the fire originally alighted by the roughly 21,000 fans that showed up at the Vicente Calderón Saturday morning to pump up their idols.

It was Cristiano’s first free kick goal since the 11th of April. Guess who he scored that one against.

On the bright side, in spite of the loss, we’re still well on track to finishing in first in the so-called ‘Otra Liga‘, the ‘Other League’, the one whose winner earns direct qualification into the Champions League for next year.

Málaga, Betis and Getafe are all level at 22 points apiece, with Málaga holding the fourth-place spot through goal differential. That leaves us with a 12-point advantage over that group at the end of the day.

Some will also take solace in still being five points up on the Merengues. We know we will.

Plus, this derby gave us two memorable moments: when Diego Costa was kind enough to scare a fly away from Sergio Ramos’ head (GIF here); and, when Cristiano embarrassed the [gel] out of himself (GIF here).

As much as many of us will vow that we’ll never let ourselves get our hopes up again ahead of the next derby, that time will come and there we’ll be, counting the hours before kick-off dreaming of finally putting an end to the ‘White Spell’.

Simeone also cursed by Real Madrid

Atleti coach Diego Simeone, like a 12-year-old or younger Atlético fan, still has no idea what it’s like to beat Real Madrid, having never triumphed over them with any of the four teams he played against them with (Sevilla, Atlético, Inter Milan, Lazio).

“The first half developed calmly, without any chances for either team,” Simeone said after the game.

“They got an opportunity with the free kick. We couldn’t progress with our play. In the second half, it was more of the same. We couldn’t grow offensively and that led to our loss.”

He continued: “Up until Cristiano’s goal we were doing well. With their first shot they scored a great goal. From there on out, things got more difficult, though I wouldn’t consider it a mental issue.”

Despite the palpable disappointment in the locker room, ‘El Cholo’ is already looking ahead to our next match.

“I haven’t said anything to [the players] yet,” he said. “They’re hurting as is normal when one loses. We’ll get back to work on Monday to see if we finish first or second in our Europa League group and then, on Sunday, we’ll try to take the points in our league game.”

Costa a constant liability, source of entertainment

While we saw a temperamental and feisty side of Diego Costa that could have ruined the night much sooner had the forward been dismissed (it’s really a miracle he made it through the entire clash without seeing red), he was simply hilarious.

Costa’s mini-battle with Ramos, who had called him “ugly” to his face early in the first half, was comedy gold.

Arda forced to pull double duties without Filipe

With centre-back Cata Díaz anchored down at the left-back position as Filipe’s replacement, Atlético’s attack was virtually non-existent. The team relies heavily on the Brazilian’s sprints up the flank in transition. In fact, creating danger through Filipe has defined the club’s style in the present campaign.

Arda, deployed as a left-winger, was forced to make up the gap created by Filipe’s absence. While the Turk effectively provided cover defending the flank, those efforts limited his effectiveness when going forward as he would start from a deeper position and with less energy and burst than usual. Realising the heavy toll the additional duties had on our ‘Number 10′, Simeone had Koke and Arda switch sides, but the move was to no avail.

It’s possible we may have survived Filipe’s absence against weaker opposition, but Saturday night showed just how important the former Deportivo man is to our success.

With regard to the decision to preserve Filipe, Simeone said: “I decided that he would not play. Cata’s performance was good. I had three options: Sílvio, Cisma and Cata. I chose Cata because he is more defensive, and I thought it would be better for us because of our opponents’ positional attack, as they have three forwards.”

Simeone continued: “[Cata] controlled Di María well. He correctly performed the task we assigned him. If Filipe would have played, he would have offered us something else.”

Other notes:

Atlético’s official site reported that Filipe Luís’ late scratch from the starting line-up was due to a left groin strain. It’s unclear how long the fullback will be out.
Miranda will be forced to serve a one-match suspension when we host Deportivo next weekend, as he was shown his fifth yellow on Saturday.
Filipe, Falcao, Gabi and Arda are all on four yellows at the moment, one away from a one-match ban.
Atleti had never lost nine straight derbies, reports Pedro Martín of COPE. Prior to the current losing streak, the club had reached eight consecutive defeats to Real Madrid on two occasions (from 1952-55 and from 1994-97).

The coach lamented the defeat in the Bernabeu

Diego Pablo Simeone, Atletico Madrid coach said in the press room after the game "in this final third we failed to win the derby. I insist thet we’ll continue to look at the next game."

With regard to fielding Diego Costa from the start "we wanted two strikers to get us deep in attack and find good diagonal voptions and have offensive presence. I think it was a quiet first half with few chances for both teams, but they went in front with the free kick and we could not get in to the game. The match was controlled. The second half was the same. We could not grow in to the game and lost."

The Atletico coach recognizes that "until the 1-0 the team was good. After the goal it was more difficult. We could not move forward in attack. When this happens, the team plays better. But if not, it loses precision. The squad is hurt. We will work from Monday to seal the qualification in Europe."

On Filipe Luis's injury, he said he was "not a hundred percent and I decided not to play him. There were three possibilities. I understood that the defender is Cata. He controlled Di Maria well."

Finally, on the situation for Atletico in La Liga, he responded that "we’re going game by game and we’ll see where we finish. It would be good to improve on last year, thats the aim."

一场完败，看的人昏昏欲睡，我只能说，眯眼蒙巧妇难为无米之炊，马竞与皇马的差距是全方位的，场上球员之间个人能力的差距是显而易见的。

第一个失球，C罗踢出了BT的任意球，第二个失球，272调整地很到位，直接穿越大小门，让人徒叹奈何。

非常失望，失望的不是结果，而是马竞在场上表现出来的东西，让人丝毫感觉不到他们有可能扳平甚至反超，尤其是那个巴西的科斯塔，整场比赛的关注点都是搞搞震，也许这是一种策略，问题是你这种策略不但没激怒对手，反而让自己人变得浮躁，要真看得不爽，干脆就干一架，小动作不断，只会让人反感。

那个十号，踢得什么玩意，拿球拿不住，传球毫无威胁，还送对手一个任意球破门，无语，好像是土耳其的吧，难怪土耳其世预赛境况惨淡。

马竞估计也是穷困潦倒了，除了一个法尔考，基本上没有拿得出手的牌了，中场哪怕有个萨尔维奥也行啊，也难为眯眼蒙了，不用这种战术，恐怕会输的更多。

我也算够意思了，前面马竞给我赢了六场的钱，我一把都押进去了，应了一句老话，出来混的，总归要还。

唯一的收获是看到了更沧桑的眯眼蒙，能把这样一支队伍带到西甲第二的位置，实属难能可贵！赞一个！

啥时候马竞也来个财大气粗的中东或俄罗斯佬，能让眯眼蒙哥甩着支票四处挖人的，那西超双熊算个鸟，随便虐！！

世界上最没悬念的城市德比，没有之一。

马竞的阵容跟西超没法比，但是在西“甲”球队中已经算总体身价最高的了（要不怎么去年西超第二超出西甲第一名三十分），再砸钱买人不现实，明年夏天或者更早不把花糕卖了折现就算对得起阿蒙了。
西甲的经济状况我只是道听途说一点点，只知道中小球会经济困难的原因之一是转播费分配不均。而马竞宁可欠着市政府的税不还也要砸钱买前锋已经算舍得投入的了。

阿蒙去年刚来的时候提出买索萨和加戈，结果都未遂

冬天雷耶斯回塞维利亚，今年夏天迭戈租约到期回德甲。然后，然后中场就这样了……

10号图兰一直是个好同学，自从输给瓦伦之后花糕进球荒马竞赢球就全靠他了，连续高光n场，得允许偶尔nc一回。

另外，赛前西班牙媒体票选马德里联队最佳11人，8个来自皇马，3个来自马竞：花糕、胡安弗兰和费利佩。结果，结果俺一觉睡醒打开网页就听说费利佩同学几分钟前热身时受伤了

临时用中卫换边后卫。床单边锋本来就没速度，靠边后卫突击的计划这回也泡汤了。
不过就算费利佩没伤、图兰状态好，想在伯纳乌不输给皇马也不太可能，实力差太多。
希望明年的主场比赛给点悬念

按床单现在的rp目测队草和队长下轮会黄的，然后，然后就不用去巴萨了……反正也是输

呵呵，我还不至于傻到直接买马竞赢，平手盘我也会买皇马的，问题是那天开的盘是皇马让一球、球半高水，换句话说，就是马竞即使一球小败我也赢钱，输两球或以上我才会输光。

唉。。。马竞不争气啊，因为西蒙尼的球队给我的直观第一印象就是防守很稳固，所以我预计最坏的结果就是一球小负，没想到272打了个穿裆，C罗一个门柱，一个门楣，输两球都算幸运了。

我那天也不算很惨，因为同样的德比我买了多特蒙德，多特蒙德就非常争气给我赢钱了，而且多特不仅赢的是球盘，场面上也丝毫不逊色于拜仁。应该说多特蒙德是我目前最喜爱的俱乐部了，在俱乐部层面我没什么偏好，谁踢得好我就挺谁，巴萨虽然踢得好，但球星太多，而且场面昏昏欲睡，基本上就是用眼花缭乱的传球让对手也昏昏欲睡之后给予致命一击，不像多特的球，大开大阖，十分过瘾。

我悲哀的不是输球，而是马竞从场面到比分的完败，我本指望马竞能成为欧洲赛场另一只多特蒙德的，多两只这样的球队，才能让巴萨不是一家独大，群雄逐鹿，百花齐放，才是我们球迷的幸事。

哈哈，这个我还真不惧巴萨，我已经赢了好几场巴萨的球了，都是因为开出的球盘巴萨让球太多，基本都是两球半，三球以上的高水，甚至还有3球半的，换句话说，我要输4:0才算输，那时候巴萨后防基本是山寨打酱油，对手只要偷袭得手一次，巴萨就得进4球以上才打平，那我肯定买巴萨对手啊，比如说拉科，塞尔塔，都是这样。

所以如果马竞踢巴萨，我预计巴萨要放2球以上，届时我还是会买马竞，因为西蒙尼的球队踢得很有实效，场面会不是太好看，但是慢慢磨，巴萨想赢3球以上，我觉得基本不可能。

况且巴萨的后防线经常会开小差，以法尔考的攻击力，偷袭一两个，基本就妥妥的了。

点头，完全想不通为毛很多人都觉得床单的人员配置是西甲除宇宙银河之外最好的，其实除了花糕姐和小门将真没什么拿得出手的，这场比赛看的很明显，双方个人能力对位比拼上那真是完败，只输两个真是意料之外了

按计算器算出来的吖
比如银河宇宙的配置是90分以上
破床单是59分，马拉加是58，瓦伦是57~~~
这不就是除银河宇宙外最好的了

现在多特不怕拜仁拜仁怕多特，五连败之后拜仁球迷都被吓出心理阴影了，如果不是德国杯赢回一场，估计拜仁面对多特的心态已经和马竞面对皇马差不多了

这个玩意只可意会不可言传，说白了，赌这玩意，还是得实战，交学费，学费交够了，你自然也就成师傅了。

当然，具体操作里还是有不少门道的，要算概率来下注，结合赛前的状态，人员配置，双方的心态，包括庄家开出的盘口，都是无声的提示，套一句老话--世上无难事只怕有心人，用心，你就什么都成了。

除了人为的用心，最重要的是，你要有运气，顺势要加码，点背要休息，赌1000把，输赢其实还是五五开，只不过赢的是重注，输的是轻筹，你就是赢家。

最后说下四大忌，一是贪婪，二是恐惧，三是感情下注，四是自以为是。永远保持一颗平常心，才能入赌局。
