The president of Argentinos Juniors, Luis Segura, has confirmed he is set for talks with former Real Madrid favourite Fernando Redondo.Argentinos Juniors recently won promotion to the Argentinian top flight and are now ready to offer Redondo an opportunity to rejoin the club where he started his career.
"I know that Fernando is in Rosario on holiday and I have heard that he could be interested in playing again for Argentinos because he wants to retire in Argentina," confirmed Segura.
"I have already had conversations with two people that are very close to him and according to what they have told me, he wants to retire wearing the shirt of Argentinos Juniors.
''Once he ends his holidays in Rosario, I am going to have a meeting with him. It would be great to have him back at the club."
Premiership outfit Bolton have previously been linked with a move for the talented midfielder.
